Industrial Manager/BDM

Salary $60,000 + Super + Bonuses  
Client

Southside Staffing with 14 years operations in the Sutherland Shire and a combined background of over 85 years in Recruitment and Employment, is currently expanding its operations into the areas of Blue Collar and Industrial/Warehousing Staff.

Working with our large existent database of client companies provides tremendous opportunities to grow the business with current clients. Additionally, developing new client relationships, and externally managing warehouse teams within large Industrial suppliers and warehouses in the South Sydney area.

 
The Role
  • Managing a team of Industrial Casuals and Blue Collar Workers
  • Liaising with existent clients on their needs and staffing requirements
  • Developing further business for your team of casual workers to ensure on-going work
  • Direct liaison with clients – Warehouse/Production Managers throughout Southern Sydney
  • Working with fun team located in Miranda
  • Operating from our Miranda HO as well as two satellite offices in Southern Sydney
  • Develop regular “call pattern” for existent and future clients
  • Develop marketing collateral and business development plans to continue building the business and the team of casuals
  • Ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements in relation to the provision of casual industrial staff
  • Maintain up to date WH&S policies
  • Sourcing, recruiting and interviewing potential staff

 

 
Skills
  • Previous experience within a warehousing /industrial environment
  • Ability to liaise at all levels – management and shop floor
  • Strong, friendly and professional approach
  • Great sense of humour
  • Pro-active and keen to develop career and business opportunities
  • Enjoys establishing relationships with clients and staff
  • Previous experience in Sales or Business Development
  • Enjoys fast paced, high energy environment
  • General knowledge of WHS and industrial awards/EBA’s
  • Computer literacy is essential

Client Account Manager

(6 month maternity leave)

A group of Market Research Specialists who source consumer and business people to give their opinions on products, services and issues. Join this friendly team, located in the Sutherland Shire.
 
The Role Reporting to the Sales Director, this is a very busy role, requiring a person who has excellent communication and time management skills. If you like to work in a very fast paced environment, this could be the role for you!!  

Responsibilities

  • Client Liaison - dealing with clients on job briefs, queries and job submissions
  • Quoting on jobs
  • Close liaison with staff and reporting back to clients on a daily basis
  • Dealing with issues as they arise
  • Ongoing liaison to understand client and their infrastructure and business direction
  • Managing the quoting system
  • Working closely with The Directors of Sales Planning and Customer Relationship Managers
  • Problem solving with clients
  • Providing solutions for clients
 

Skills & Experience

  • Highly organised
  • Project Management Experience
  • Strong organisational & planning skills
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • A good team player
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to provide solutions to problems
  • Market research/call centre/project management/recruitment environment experience would be highly regarded
 
Hours

Hours: 9 am - 5 pm

This is a 6 month contract and will commence early January
