On Hire Casual (Temp)
Candidates Process
When you register as a temporary your personal details, experience, skills and qualifications will be discussed with an experienced consultant. We also test your competency on computer packages such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Typing Skills and Book keeping. Testing can be emailed to you at home or carried out in our office.
Once we have evaluated your experience and skills we can then match you to exciting new long or short term temporary assignments as they become available. Your information is kept strictly confidential at all times.
The interview with our consultants is a terrific opportunity to discuss openly and privately your aspirations, career qualifications and motivation in a comfortable and professional office environment.
We will provide down to earth guidance on all aspects of your career which includes advice on
resume preparation, personal presentation, and interview tips. We will even put the kettle on for you.
At the time of your interview please dress in a professional manner as it is possible you may be required to go to a temporary assignment immediately. Please bring with you to the interview:
• Referee contact numbers – if not on your resume.
• Passport/Visa (if not an Australian Citizen)
• Tax File Number
• Banking Details
• Superannuation Details, including a letter of compliance from your Super Fund
We keep in touch with our candidates on regular basis with updates of current trends and
information via email or sms.

Candidate Process
When you send your resume` to Southside Staffing Services, you will immediately receive an acknowledgement that we have received your details. Your resume` is then forwarded to one of our Consultants.
If you are applying for a specific role, we will advise if your details do or do not fit the criteria of our client and you may receive an email requesting that you call us to make an appointment to meet with the Consultant handling that role.
If your history does not fit the current lcient requirements, we may still offer you the opportunity to register with us for consideration for any future job orders we may receive.
Our Office Co-ordinator will liaise with you regarding your appointment. She will also send an overview of our interview process. If any testing is required, this will be sent to your personal computer to complete prior to your interview.
